To provide a welcoming place for neighbours to gather, pass along practical knowledge, support families and local stewardship, stay informed, and bring community priorities forward constructively.

Local logger-farmers—many of Swedish and Finnish ancestry—build the wooden hall known as Swedes Hall. Local history records that R. J. Filberg donated the lumber.
The original owners donate the Hall to the Dove Creek Women’s Institute, beginning the chapter remembered in the name W.I. Hall.
The Dove Creek Community Association carries the building forward as a place for meetings, music, celebrations, and workshops.
The Dove Creek Hall remains a working rural gathering place at 3400 Burns Road.
